Allen Associates MD and University of Strathclyde alumni, Scott Allen, gives a lecture to 4th year Students at the Department of Chemical & Process Engineering.
Following on from the success of the emerging technologies lecture Scott was asked back to give a lecture on Process Control & Instrumentation to 4th Year students. The presentation was designed to give students a guide to instrumentation and process control in industry. The lecture covered a range of topics including PLCs, SCADA, instruments, IO, P&ID development and an introduction to writing functional design specifications (FDS).
